Farmer’s Market

Pictures from our local farmer’s market.  I got there a tad late, so a lot of the booths were looking kind of skimpy.  I still managed to pick up Maitake mushrooms and green snap peas and I’m so glad to see the market doing so well that the farmers don’t have much to take back home.    And it’s kinda fun to do digital photography.

    YUM YUM YUM! I was there today too. I picked up some beans, locally raised ground pork, onions, and #2 apples for making applesauce later this week! I love Corvallis’ Farmer’s market. Mostly I enjoy going for the social, the atmosphere and the awesome street performances! ;-)

    Your farmer’s market is spectacular. Thus far, we have not seen much available at the two markets I have visited lately. Guess it is still a bit early in the season…but you would think you could find some asparagus at least.
